i've finished my brother's hat. which i started out flat then sewed the seams and then the top. i've started on my nephew's hat, which will be a stripety black and blue. i'm using the 16" circ., but i'm still getting used to them. i keep dropping stitches and have to rip. what a chore!

been looking for japanese knitting books online....search very difficult! found two on fujisan.com.

will purchase later.



in the past week my mom went through surgery and is now recovering. she's a trooper. i love you mom!
