Baking nerd. Paper Love

I just been baking Chocolate Chip Cookies like crazy. I made Fantasy Fudge and Mrs. Fields' Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookies!
(My go-to recipe now and forever ~!! )

Mrs. Fields' Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookies and more is found at Mrs. Fields' blog:  Mrs. Fields Secrets. This is her REAL blog.

The Fantasy Fudge recipe is found on the back of the Kraft Marshmallow Creme bottle. The online recipe can be found here: Kraft Fantasy Fudge @ the Kraft website or here verbatim: http://www.christmas-cookies.com/recipes/recipe191.fantasy-fudge.html. Apparently, the recipe has changed a bit since the original was formed in a 9 x 13 in. pan using chocolate chips and the new is done in a 9 in. square pan using a melted semi-sweet chocolate bar.

Since it's a , I am trying to follow my resolutions.

My Resolutions are:
  1. Lose Weight. - So far I've lost 5 lbs. I love the Kinect.
  2. Organize and  Getting  Rid of Clutter - Threw out some old stuff, still working on that. Especially the uncluttered.
  3. More Patience with Family.
  4. Be more social. (Trying.)
  5. Update my education.
  6. Start a small business and make income with stuff I know how to do. No get rich quick schemes, etc. Just good old fashioned work.
  7. Re-do my domain, spatula-girl.net.
Found a printable Resolutions list here: http://printable.tipjunkie.com/new-years-resolution-list-printable/ and an inspirational desktop wallpaper here: http://lilmagoolie.com/2011/01/03/printable-resolutions-poster/.

Organize, organize with: http://www.mommytracked.com/,http://organizedhome.com, and http://www.livinglocurto.com/ is one of my new fav places to visit.

i talk about paper goodies a whole lot, so it's about time i share a little of my own. i scanned this piece of japanese gift wrap and tweaked it in photoshop. i got a batch of it from kyun san jose when it was open years ago. sadly enough that store and related are long gone.

so here you go! feel free to print it out for gift wrap and anything to use on paper. enjoy!

have you wondered what happened to the kusudama i was working on? it was very pretty when i started.
this is not a very good photo, since the kusudama was roughly handled by a two and three year old. LOL.
this is what it looked like before (not so good) it met its untimely demise.:

my kiddies found it and mashed it. it is now dead.

kusudama!
i made this today, using post-it notes! woohoo! using the instructions here:
the peace of paper - origami flowers-kusudama flowers link via curbly.com. the flower is a little shabby since it is my first. it wasn't behaving as i was glueing it together and kept popping open. my main mistake was using a gluestick which wasn't holding properly. you are supposed to using paper glue, like Elmer's or something.

then, i remembered i had liquid clear glue, but the applicator was broken and had a tendency to leak. i had to pour some out on a little jar lid and use a toothpick to apply the glue. this time it worked to stay.
i'm going to attempt an entire kusudama ball.
